The FIRST DAY for candidates to circulate and file petitions is JANUARY 23, 2024
The LAST DAY for candidates to circulate and file petitions is FEBRUARY 13, 2024
BEFORE COPYING THE NOMINATION PETITIONS, PLEASE NOTE: NOMINATION PETITIONS MUST BE COPIED AS DUPLEX (TWO-SIDED, FRONT AND BACK, HEAD TO HEAD) ON PLAIN WHITE 8 1/2" X 11” (LETTER SIZE) PAPER. THIS REQUIREMENT CANNOT BE SATISFIED BY PRINTING EACH SIDE OF THE DUPLEX NOMINATION PETITION ON A SEPARATE SHEET OF 8 1/2" x 11” PAPER AND AFFIXING THE TWO SHEETS TOGETHER WITH A STAPLE OR PAPER CLIP.
FAILURE TO REPRODUCE THE NOMINATION PETITION FORMS CORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF THOSE FORMS! PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED FOR THE NOMINATION PETITIONS PRIOR TO CIRCULATION. If you, as a Candidate, cannot attend the casting of lots (November 24, 2023 @12:00, Northampton County Gov't Center, Elections Division Office on the Lower Level), and wish to designate an agent to represent you, please fill out the Affidavit for Proxy (must be notarized) and submit BEFORE, November 24, 2023. If you are unable to get the Affidavit notarized, please fill out the Unsworn Declaration, as well, and submit BOTH forms BEFORE, November 24, 2023.
