The Northampton County Council of Government's is a voluntary organization of Northampton County municipalities created to foster a cooperative effort and engage in meaningful dialogues that assist local governments run more efficiently and obtain resources.
The Northampton County Council of Government's strives to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, to insure effective communication, to facilitate agreements and cooperative actions, to improve efficiency and service of joint efforts, to provide technical aid and services to members and to promote legislation for the advancement of local government.
The mission is to improve and strengthen intergovernmental cooperation in Northampton County. The Northampton County Council of Government's is an advocate for voluntary partnerships and sharing knowledge and resources to better serve the needs of all communities in the County.
